- in v2mixer, layer everything, for video example:
- the lower layer is always covered by the upper layer, in this image, video 1 always rewrite the video 2 and 3.
- The upper layer may be smaller in size or contain partial transparency, then the content of this area of the lower layer will be keep.
- layer work for all object, mean work for video, audio, subtitle, image... that object in layer call chapter, name as video chpater, audio chapter, subtitle chapter.
- layer is for manager for chapters, examples in this page is the one chapter mode, just call video, audio, subtitle.
- when object in same track, will mix as one, order follow the track number, from last to first.
- change the upper layer video size and move to right position you can create the video layer over layer. for example:
- with Effect Move Size, you can seethe Lian Ross MVover the other layers, at right side:
in this example, the second layer with an at offset, it mean will play at a later time, so you can see different image of the first layer, even that are same file. - with Effect Image Mask, you can easy crop as shape of a heart that you draw:
- for video
- when video1, video2 both in the track 0,
- see above seconds image, the first layer is the video1 in the track 0, this's the first track, always at top.
- the video2 also in the track 0 but in the next layer.
you can see the track number is + flag, it mean second layer, same the track number as above. - second layer also output all chapter on it, just like the master layer, but lower on master layer(and other second layer upper).
you can set any/many video as second second... layers, by the 
setting button - so video1 always upper the video2, so we can cut, move and resize, mask as, motion... and more you told to us.
- when video1, video2 are different tracks, the movie you export will have 2 video tracks, just like multi-audio tracks.
but some player may not support to switch the video track, you can add to v2mixer or test by who supported, such VLC.
- for audio
- when audio1, audio2 both in the track N,
- will mixed as one by you map, mean you can mix the music, voice, wind... many as one as specified channel with specified ratio.

- when audio1, audio2 are different tracks, the movie you export will have 2 audio tracks, such multi-language voice, director track..
- for subtitle
- then subtitle1, subtitle2 both in track N,
- will show both of them, you can move that to right position:
- the subtitle1 can be SRT subtitle, the SSA subtitle2 may from you as second language show in the video.
- but if subtitle1 is image subtitle from such DVD, that can't join to text subtitle1 as same track.
- text subtitle include SRT/SSA/ASS.
- when subtitle1, subtitl2 are different tracks, the movie you export will have 2 subtitle track, such multi-language subtitles..
- for image
- the image is support as layer, but doesn't work alone, you can put the image on top layer to flag something, for example:
- add the a1.png(an arrow with fully transparent background) as top layer,
- add the Effect Move Resizeto move the image to target location,
- change the at, by, totimes by "settings" buttonlet image chapter work only during specified time
- current GIFimage will decode as video, so you can use like video file, transparency also works.
- pay attention to our v2Motionproject, it can let static image action as video, or convert from GIF. as emoticons, animation effects, event backgrounds, etc..
